Initial Situation

Enabling digital general meetings

Raiffeisen Switzerland wanted to give its members the opportunity to participate in virtual general meetings to increase attendance rates. The challenge was to create a future-oriented concept for general meetings that would meet legal requirements and enhance customer satisfaction.

Approach

From concept to implementation

A comprehensive data analysis and research of best practices in the national and international markets formed the foundation. In numerous discussions with various software providers, the needs of banks and customers were validated. Based on these insights, the concept of the “digital general meeting” was developed for Raiffeisen. Each Raiffeisen bank can now individually decide whether to hold the general meeting in a physical, virtual, or hybrid format. Special attention was given to ensuring that the virtual format meets legal requirements and enhances customer satisfaction.
