To align the sales team with the ambitious growth targets of a Swiss health insurer, we were tasked with analyzing all available sales channels in the market, evaluating them from the insurer’s perspective, and prioritizing them accordingly.

Approach

Analysis of promising sales channels

In the first step, a comprehensive research and analysis of all potential sales channels relevant to health insurance was conducted. A conceptual framework was developed to systematically categorize the sales channels. All possible sales channels were assessed through profiles using strategically relevant criteria, and promising channels were validated through expert interviews and initial discussions with potential sales partners. Finally, all sales channels were prioritized holistically for the health insurer, and actionable recommendations for further validation and pilot projects were provided for each channel. A prioritized sales channel was further developed in the “Ideate and Validate” project.
