In this project, we faced the challenge of bringing an innovative fire and smoke alarm system to market that combines the safety of a legally required fire alarm system with the intelligence and integration of a smart home—all at a competitive price. Together with the "Gebäuderversicherung Bern", we designed a comprehensive market launch approach.
Solution
Segura360
The Segura360 platform serves as the central hub, where all smoke detectors log events through the Internet of Things (LoRa-WAN). When a detector senses smoke or heat, customers receive an alert on their mobile devices, and the fire department is notified. A digital layout of the smoke detectors is stored with the fire department, allowing them to identify the source and spread of the fire while en route.
