Initial Situation

Optimization of sales and customer relationships

To optimize existing sales channels and customer relationships and achieve the defined growth targets, we were tasked with identifying and quantifying quickly implementable measures in the areas of customers, sales channels, and processes. The focus was on leveraging existing potential to achieve quick wins. In a second project, we were commissioned to reduce the cancellation rate to holistically ensure the attainment of growth objectives.

Approach

Data-driven growth planning

A detailed data analysis of new contracts, existing customers, and sales channels formed the foundation of the project. Building on this, an overarching sales funnel was developed to support the defined growth targets across all customer groups and sales channels. A comprehensive growth planning tool was then created to categorize all identified measures for customer acquisition and portfolio development, based on data-driven calculations and quantified with lean business cases. The measures were prioritized in collaboration with management based on their impact on growth targets and implemented within the relevant teams to ensure rapid and efficient execution.
