For many years, Solida has operated a very stable and sustainable business model characterized by operational excellence. To future-proof the business model and stay current, we were commissioned to develop a continuous trend monitoring system. This system systematically screens and evaluates new digital business models, products, services, and trends.
Approach
Four-stage approach to trend screening
In 2022, we developed a four-stage approach for continuous trend screening in an initial project phase, allowing for further refinement and adaptation with each screening cycle. Since then, all start-ups and strategic directions relevant to Solida have been analyzed and evaluated for relevance and feasibility in regular interactive workshops with Solida. Promising opportunities are then explored further by us, ideas are validated, and potential collaborations are tested in pilot phases. The established process ensures that continuous screening adds value for Solida while keeping costs low.
